1. Introduction
WorkMark Camera (the "App") is provided by its operator. We understand how important your personal information is and we work to keep it safe. This policy explains what we collect, how we use, store, share and protect it, and what rights you have. Please read it carefully before using the App; by using the App you accept this policy in full.
2. What we collect
We only collect what is needed to provide shooting, watermarking, location and shot syncing:
1. Photos and video: when you shoot, we process the captured image or video in order to produce the watermarked result;
2. Location: once you grant permission, we read your precise coordinates so the watermark can show where the shot was taken and the local weather;
3. Device details: a shot record carries your device model and OS version (for example "iPhone15,3 · iOS 18.0") so the record shows what the photo was taken with. We do not collect advertising identifiers or any other unique device identifier;
4. Account details: when you sign in with Google, with Apple (iOS) or with an email address, we collect the corresponding identifier — for email sign-in also the address and the emailed code — in order to register, sign you in and sync your data. For email sign-in we use the part before the @ as your default nickname. If you choose to share your name with Sign in with Apple, we receive it and use it as your default nickname. When you sign in with Google we receive the identifier, name and profile picture Google returns, and use the name as your default nickname and the picture as your default avatar;
5. Photo library: when you choose to, we read images from your library (for example a brand logo) and write watermarked results back when you save;
6. Feedback: when you send feedback we collect what you wrote, the contact details you chose to give and any screenshots you attach.
The App currently offers no paid or subscription service and collects no payment information. We do not collect personal information unrelated to the functions above.
3. How we use it
We use the information above to:
1. Provide the core functions — shooting, watermark compositing, location and weather;
2. Register and sign you in, and sync your data across devices;
3. Run tamper checks that help confirm a photo is an unmodified original;
4. Handle your feedback, provide support and maintain security.
We will not use your personal information for purposes not described here. If a new purpose arises, we will ask for your consent again.
4. Storage and protection
Location: your personal information and the files you upload are stored on servers located in France (EU). The third parties involved are listed under "Third-party services".
Retention: we keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, unless the law requires otherwise. After that we delete or anonymise it.
Security: we use encrypted transport (HTTPS), access control and other standard technical and organisational measures to guard against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share what is necessary only in these cases:
1. With your consent;
2. With the partners that make features work — mapping and reverse geocoding, cloud storage and SMS (see "Third-party services");
3. Where disclosure is required by law or by a court or regulator.
We require our partners to keep such information confidential and to protect it appropriately.
6. Third-party services
The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect and process the information they need:
1. Sign in with Google — provides Google account sign-in and handles the identifier, name and picture Google issues;
2. Sign in with Apple — provides Apple account sign-in and handles the identifier Apple issues;
3. Mapping and reverse geocoding (Geoapify, servers in the EU) — turns your coordinates into a readable address and weather, and suggests nearby places when you pick a location by hand;
4. Email delivery (email sign-in only) — sends the verification code to your address;
5. Cloud object storage (servers in France) — holds the results, logos and feedback images you upload.
Each third party handles what it collects under its own privacy policy.
7. Your rights
You can exercise these rights in the App:
1. Access and correction — view and change your account details;
2. Withdraw permission — turn off camera, location, photo library or microphone access in system settings (the related features will stop working);
3. Delete your account — go to My account → Delete account. We will delete or anonymise your account and related data. This cannot be undone;
4. Complaints and questions — use Send feedback in the App, or email service@baladuoduo.com.
8. Permissions we request
The App asks for these permissions when you use the matching feature:
· Camera — to take watermarked photos and videos;
· Location — to show the place and weather on the watermark;
· Photo library — to pick a brand logo and to save watermarked results;
· Microphone — to record audio while shooting video.
You can grant or revoke any of these in system settings at any time.
9. Minors
The App is intended for adults. If you are a minor, please use the App and provide personal information under the guidance of a guardian. We protect minors' personal information as the law requires. If a guardian finds that we collected a minor's information without consent, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will announce updates in the App and mark the revision date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you more prominently.
11. Contact us
If you have questions, comments or complaints about this policy or about how we handle personal information, use Send feedback in the App or email service@baladuoduo.com. We will respond as soon as we can.
